Sounds like there is enough of us to start. I've never been part of a book club either. I'm thinking we could do it two ways. What do think?

1) All read the same book and then discuss

or

2) List books we have that we would like to swap with other group members?

Maybe do both?

Anyone else every been in a book club?

No, I have never been in a book club. I just finished Anthony and Cleopatra which was the latest installment in Colleen McCollough's Rome series. I have enjoyed the serier tremendously.

I'm interested -- had put that on my list last week. Right now I'm reading The Deception of the emerald Ring - Lauren Willig.

Sounds interesting. I've been reading Carl Hiassen's "Sick Puppy".

I have read that his books are quite funny but haven't gotten around to them yet. I have been on this Caesar jag. I go through stages. Lately I have been back and forth between Caesar, Henry VIII/Elizabeth I and The Mormons.

Talk about a mixed bag of reading....

Does look like an interesting book. I'm in. How about we all have it read by April 5th? I don't know how much time everyone needs but if this is to long or short let me know. In the meantime I'll see if my local book store has a Book Club Guide for this book. :-)
