Indie Businesses and Socially Conscious Shoppers ComingTogether

I ended up having a cancellation today for the Wickedly Chic Sunday Evening Giveaway. Normally, I charge $45.00 to run a giveaway that goes out to nearly 6000 Wickedly Chic subscribers. You can find more info on the giveaways by going to www.wickedlychic.com and clicking on the Advertise tab. Anyway...despite this lovely seller having paid for her giveaway...I have never heard back from her to set it up.

So I sent out an email to see if anyone wanted to participate this evening. I was shocked at how many responses that I had. The first person to answer was Ali from buttonhead and her giveaway is running right now. Thank you to Ali and if you haven't checked out her hilarious buttons, it's time to do so...right now.

I do not have any Sunday openings until Sunday May 25 but if anyone would like to run a mid-week giveaway through Wickedly Chic, I will offer this to MP forum members only for the low low price of $15.00. I have had three businesses take advantage of this offer already. This spectacular offer that will change your entire life is available through tomorrow evening (Monday March 17). This is in celebration of St. Patrick's Day which I do not celebrate as I have absolutely no Irish in my blood. But...my mother in law celebrates it so this is in honor of her. She says she's Irish.

Send me an email at liz@wickedlychic.com if you are interested and I will get you all set up.

xxoo

Hi Liz-

Can you explain to me, the marketing challenged girl, what it is exactly that you were offering? I zipped over ot the Wickedly Chic website and saw the butterfly earrings that were being offered. Is that what it is? For a fee you can have one of your pieces as the give-away thereby getting exposure? Forgive me for being stupid this morning (turns out that one triple latte is just not enough), but I'm thinking I might want to do this when I get my Etsy store revamped.

Thanks!
Laurie

Hi Laurie:

I am on vacation and did not see your post so I apologize that it took me so long to reply.

The Wickedly Chic *official* (LOL) giveaways go through my newsletter so they are distributed directly into the in-boxes of readers. Right now, I have nearly 5200 readers on my mailing list so you get a good amount of exposure and will have your business right in their faces.

The box that I have with the butterfly earrings on the home page is something that is being sponsored through a PR firm. I wanted to run their giveaway but didn't have any other space...so that is where I put it.

Hope this helps answer your question. If not, let me know.

Liz,

Do you have a banner that I can add to my blog to link to you?

Thanks,

Caroline

Sure...what size do you need?

a 125 x 125 would be perfect.

Thanks!

Thanks Liz!

Sorry I've been a slacker about following up on my (4) Ning groups discussions and only just saw this - no worries about your reply, my 4 yo has been sick and I didn't realize more than a couple days had passed anyway!

Is $15 a regular price or a special?

Thanks again!
Laurie
