- I've always been fascinated by colorful gemstones and contented by the feel of them in my hands. The feeling of creating something beautiful to wear is its own reward, but yet I am always excited when someone else sees the beauty of one of my creations for themselves. Jewelry is not just adornment, but a way to set ourselves apart and show our own glorious uniqueness to all.
I love designing and creating unique handcrafted beaded jewelry using semi-precious gemstones, vintage beads and components, cultured freshwater pearls, crystals, glass, sterling silver, Bali silver, gold, vermeil and anything else that catches my eye, and have been doing so since I was a little girl. Of course, then it was in a much smaller way, but even then, little seed beads, shells and small rocks were completely fascinating to me.
I opened my shop, Fancy That! Artisan Jewelry Design at Ruby Lane five years ago and love every minute of it.
