About Me:
Hi! My name is Sharon and my husband Damein & I are the artisans behind Mana Moon Studios. The treasures listed here are my creations and I love working with wire & artist's focal beads as well as mixing fibers with various materials to create unique wearable treasures. My husband is a fantastic chain maille artisan who simply picked up two pair of pliers and some jump rings one day and created magic (I said he was channeling an ancient craftsman).

A little blurb about our business:
As part of the Indie culture, Mana Moon Studios, is home to a vast array of handmade jewelry and wearable treasures including our unique Wire Wrapped Bracelets and Key Holders as well as our Fiberwear Creations.

A little blurb about me:
I've enjoyed a life filled with creativity both professionally & personally and have been creating wearable treasures for over 30 years along with having had the opportunity of apprenticing with a master jeweler for 2 years. I love working with the various mediums involved in jewelry making and expressing myself through this creative venue.

Hi Sharon! I was just thinking about you! I'm getting ready to do a post soon...whew I've been busy!! Three near misses with tornadoes, hubby was gone the entire time to Minn. so it left me dragging large tree limbs, etc. alone...and my strawberries are in. Bumper crop this year! Just spent three hours picking this morning and it's the second picking only....Pru is just a riot...I've got some adorable photos I'm going to post along with my beautiful flowers that are starting to bloom! I'm also TRYING to work on the large stained glass business Logo sign I've been commissioned to do...the weather has really put me behind...oh, and I broke a tooth, cut my finger (doing dishes) and my brother in law had a heart attack! How's that for a crazy week!! But, things are calming down, my brother in law seems to be doing well, berries are picked, storms are over (for now) and this afternoon I go for a root canal!! Put it this way...I've been doing a lot of positive-self talk this week and so far, I've survived the whirlwind! Thanks for checking up on me. I'm still here and kickin! With gratitude, Laurie B.
Oh PS...I am going to be the featured reader on Wickedly Chic soon and I listed you as one of my favorite artists so there will be a link for your store in the feature they're running on me! Free PR....always a GOOD thing!

I know it's part of life but that doesn't make it any easier...at all.

Hope you will have a good week :)

Hi Sharon! Thank you so much for your comments on my work. It means a lot to me. The Harry Potter piece was fun! I'd love to make another one. The Victorian piece was a bear!!! I even wrote about it on my blog. It is pretty but every time I look at it I have flashbacks! ha! The tips of the thin pieces were incredibly difficult not to snap, splinter or crack. I reworked so many pieces on that I lost count. I think part of it was the glass I chose. The verigated glass was/is hard to work with...live and learn! I thought it turned out elegant though. That was the look I was going for. I'm STILL waiting for some extra cash flow to get that bracelet! It will happen...patience is what I tell myself. With gratitude, Laurie B.

Oh you're so sweet to notice I've been quiet! All week I have been busy with my glass, my gardens, etc. and in the back of my mind I am ALWAYS thinking about my next topic! Today the "guilt" started nagging at me so I would imagine something will pop in my head shortly! (usually around 4 am!) I sincerely love your jewelry and am saving for a bracelet....I have my eye on your work, trust me! With gratitude friend, Laurie B.
